GO 2 VENT Equipment
The GO2VENT® (Gas Operated Ventilator) is the newest version of the VORTRAN Medical single-patient-use, disposable resuscitator (VAR). It provides “hands free” ventilator support via a secure airway using a continuous gas source. The GO2VENT® device can be operated on a compressor, oxygen or air with a minimum of 10 Liters per minute flow rates. Clinical Applications
Routine Checks of Mechanical Ventilation
Respirometers are used to perform routine checks of patient’s tidal volumes to guarantee accurate ventilator performance.
Ventilator Weaning
When blood gas analysis indicates weaning can be attempted, respirometers make ideal instruments to determine the success of weaning by measuring tidal and minute volume levels.
Recovery
Respirometers are ideal instruments to ensure the level of the patient’s lung function before leaving the recovery area.

Who Uses SPEAX
Hospitals
Non-invasive ventilation may be used as a form of life support. These patients are still able to speak, but the properties of the mask prevent them from being heard. SPEAX is used to allow patients to participate in their care and to speak with loved ones.
Home
CPAP and BiPAP are used for a variety of patients in the home. ALS, MD, and some COPD patients may need to use this therapy for a majority of their day. SPEAX can improve daily life by restoring the ability to speak with those around you.

The tremoflo® C-100 Airwave Oscillometry System™ (AOS System) is a sophisticated, compact device which provides quantitative information on both large and small airway function. Measurements from the tremoflo® are fast and easy to obtain, requiring only quiet breathing from the patient.
The tremoflo® C-100 involves little operator–patient coordination. This simple handheld device superimposes a gentle oscillatory wave on the patient’s normal breathing to provide several key outcome parameters of respiratory mechanics.
