Pediatric Respiratory Therapist (Nights)
Respitech Medical is looking for two Respiratory Therapist to join our nightshift team at a pediatric specialty rehab facility in Baltimore.
Critical care and current or extensive pediatric experience is a must.
You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside an amazing staff and be a part of cutting-edge therapies.
This position requires highly dedicated and skilled Respiratory Therapists.
Hours: 7pm-7am; Three 12-hour shifts per week
Holidays and rotating weekends (every other) are required.
Pay: Weekday night shift, 48.30/hr; Weekend night shift- 52.50/hr
- Maryland RT license required
- PALS and BLS required
- Minimum of 1-2 years current pediatric experience required
- Current NBRC CRT credential (minimum) required, RRT highly desirable
- Minimum of 1-year Critical Care experience required
- Pediatric rehab experience-highly desirable
Must be able to:
- Perform respiratory care assessments/therapies in a timely manner according to departmental Policy and Procedures
- Utilize various types of respiratory equipment to include mechanical ventilators, cough assist devices, High Flow, Diaphragmatic pacers etc.
- Perform Arterial blood gas draws
- Airway management/tracheostomy care
- Understand and perform various respiratory treatments/therapies such as medication administration and pulmonary hygiene
- Effectively work in a team environment. Strong communication, computer and organizational skills required
- Other duties as assigned
